Rhomboideus capitus/cervicus
The rhomboideus cervicus is the more medial band of muscle in comparison to the rhomboideus capitus. You may need to hold up the trapezius in order to see these two muscles.
How-To: Tear apart the connective tissue at the neck until you see these two muscles. The tissue may come in layers, so it is probably best to use your blunt probe or your fingers to clear the area out. these muscles should be pretty easy to spot, as they are thick lines.

- Action: These muscles draw the scapula forward.
- Origin: The cervicus originates from the cervical vertebrae. The capitus originates from the occipital area of the cranium.
- Insertion: The cervicus and capitus are both inserted into the scapula.
